All-on 4 Dental Implants
Rockwall & Paris, Texas

Thanks to advancements in dental technology, an entire arch of teeth can now be placed sometimes using just four strategically placed implants. All-on-4 dental implants offer a stable, natural solution for missing teeth that is equally effective in the upper and lower jaw, will restore your youthful appearance, provide greater stability, halt deterioration of your jawbone, restore your sense of self-confidence, and return your ability to enjoy the foods you have not been able to enjoy due to missing teeth.

At Northeast Texas Periodontal Specialists, we provide a range of implant-based solutions for missing teeth, including All-on-4 Dental Implants. If you are missing teeth and would like to learn more about whether All-on-4 Dental Implants or another implant-based solution is right for you, please refer to the following. To schedule an appointment for a consultation to see if All-on-4 is right for you, contact our Rockwall office today at (972) 771-8640 or our Paris office at (903) 785-4832.

All-on 4 Dental Implants
Procedure

While All-on-4 Dental Implants will quickly restore your full smile, the process of achieving this full smile will take place over several months and require multiple visits. The first step will be a thorough examination to determine if All-on-4 dental implants are the best treatment option for you, and to determine if there are any underlying issues that need to be addressed prior to the procedure, such as a bone graft or tooth extraction.

During this evaluation, we will take 3D images using a dental CT scanner, which produces high-quality 3-D images that will allow for more precise treatment planning. These images also allow us to determine the optimal placement of your implants. We will also use these images with a special software to create a surgical guide to ensure the implant is precisely inserted into the pre-planned position on the day of the procedure. Provided you are viable candidate for All-on-4 and want to move forward with the procedure, impressions of your new teeth will be made and a follow up appointment will be scheduled.

Because we are committed to providing our patients with the highest level of care in the least invasive way possible, we use the latest in dental technology to ensure your safety and improved outcomes, which is why your All-on-4 procedure will be performed with a Piezoelectic surgical instrument. This instrument is used to create the hole where your implants will be placed and to reshape the bone to ensure an optimal fit. Unlike conventional instruments, Piezosurgery uses ultrasonic vibrations to precisely cut bone without affecting the nerves, blood vessels, skin, or gum.

Once the holes have been cut and the four implants placed, we will position your temporary restoration, which will be worn while you undergo the healing process, and frequently we will add growth proteins to the bone to facilitate the healing process. It will take several months for the titanium posts in your jaw to fully integrate, a process called osseointegration. Once this process of osseointegration is complete, you will return to our office one final time and we will clear you to proceed with your permanent restoration. Finally, we will also work with your dentist to ensure that your bite looks and feels comfortable and aligns with the adjacent teeth.

Cost Associated

To ensure that your All-on-4 dental implant procedure is successful and to provide you with the necessary personal care instructions, we will schedule post-operative checks throughout the first year of your implants being placed at no additional charge. We also provide post-operative checks on your implants annually following the first year as part of your implant cleaning routine.

In addition to the procedural costs of All-on-4, there may be additional expenses if other procedures need to be performed, if dental sedation is necessary, and depending on your dental insurance plan. It is also important to factor in the cost of the initial visit and any follow up appointments that may be necessary.

For patients who are covered under a dental insurance plan, although we are not in-network, we will gladly help prepare and file your claim to ensure you receive your maximum reimbursement. Payment is due in full on the day of treatment. We accept cash, check, Visa, Discover, Mastercard, and American Express. If you are concerned about the cost of receiving treatment, please know that we offer our patients Compassionate Finance, which offers a variety of payment solutions with fixed interest rates and manageable monthly payments and CareCredit®, which offers 24-monty payment plans with zero interest, as well as low-interest financing for 24-60 months.

Advanced 3D imaging makes treatment faster and less invasive

We use high-tech digital X-rays and a 3D cone beam CT scanner to get detailed images of your teeth, gums, and jaw structure. With these images, we precisely plan your implant placement ahead of the appointment for surgery. We can then place your implants quickly and with no or minimal incisions.

Revolutionary
Non-surgical gum treatment using the Perioscope

We treat most cases of moderate to severe gum disease completely non-surgically by using the Perioscope. The Perioscope is a revolutionary, tiny camera that enables us to see deeply buried plaque and calculus deposits, that before the Perioscope would have required exploratory surgery to see. Using the Perioscope, we thoroughly remove these deposits with our scaling instruments.
